WMR Initiatives

It is the Western Metropolitan Region's (WMR), three year goal (2009/11) to be the 'fastest improving' region in Victoria in Literacy and Numeracy. So far, we're well on target!

As part of the E5QuiP initiative, KCHS has dedicated literacy and numeracy school-based coaches to support other staff and students in the literacy and numeracy strategies aimed to improve effective teaching, bur more importantly, student outcomes.

At KCHS, we have high expectations of ourselves and our students to achieve meaningful outcomes that will translate into effective transitions after school. We are on a significant learning journey in these areas and look forward to the continued support from WMR initiatives to help us reach our goals.
