Kensington is part of the Traditional lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung peoples. They have cared for and protected it since time immemorial. Kensington Community High School acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people as the Traditional Owners and true sovereigns of the land now known as Kensington.
